What you said can be summed up in two words: market value. Think also about imperialism which in modern day job market is known as globalization which is OK in terms of selling of goods but not in the job market.

Please look up British history and it will explain things for you. The rubber plantations, sugar plantations and how the British tool cheap labor to these plantations and were considered as imperialists. In today's world, because of the nature of work and the Internet you can take jobs to them and exploit then for cheap labor.

This Administration has insulted the US worker with that darned concept. They should sell goods in those countries, goods made by American workers. They should not "sell" jobs there to the lowest bidder.
