MSFT ...(g)

Today Microsoft officials announced that a gardener tripped over a sprinkler head at the main campus and noticed a black greasy substance oozing out of the ground. Subsequent investigation revealed that the substance was sweet crude and was the tip of a vast underground reserve of the oil that seems to rival the Saudi reserves in size.

Officials also announced the discovery of gold in the sand surrounding the campus. Prelimanary assays show that the gold vein is 23-40 oz per ton of ore. The vein is 800 feet wide 400 feet thick and 1.2 miles long and reaches the surface in several places on the campus with a maximum depth of 450 feet.

In keeping with the overall tone of the market, shares of MSFT dropped opver $1 today in response to the news.
