But a campaign has a way of bringing the truth to light and also tends to highlight the candidates' true strength of character. Moreover, a well-waged campaign brings to the surface all of the weaknesses of the contenders. Hopefully, between now and November, the truth will emerge. And the current climate will change. And Bush will be reelected because he represents those values and strengths closest to the American heart and soul.
