I have two close relatives in the industry, one a veteran pilot for one of the largest US commercial airlines (a former fighter pilot and Annapolis grad), the other a senior flight attendant for the same airline.

I finally had to ask them to stop telling me about the insane security lapses that occur on a regular basis in airports across the country, because it is too frightening. I would tell you about them, but I don't want to give any bad guys any ideas.

BTW, in the industry TSA is understood to mean "Thousands Stand Around."
