Rasmussan's tracking poll is still stuck at even. Latest: Kerry 48 Bush 45. Both candidates have been in a 42 - 48 trading range for months. I think Kerry managed 49 once for one day (that was the Edwards bounce -g-).

Considering that the results have a 3% margin of error, if the race had been completely fixed at 50/50 support for the past three months, no voter change whatsoever, we would have seen just about the results we have seen.

Next up: can the convention get Kerry more than 48% support?
