I have a friend who came back from Iraq after 4 months and he has some tales. He was in an armored Suburban that triggered a road bomb. Lifted the front a foot off the road and poked a small hole in the radiator. They kept going. His injury came from trying to carry too much up the stairs when under a mortar attack. Double hernia. Ouch.

He said the Indians have taken over the food service at a lot of the hotels and don't eat there because they don't wash the food. It's ok to eat the very good bread made by Iraqis but nothing else they serve. He praised the food he got from Kellog, Brown and Root.
