Yep. Had to pull teeth to get him to talk much about it, though. He did give me his impression of various generals. Pretty much conformed to the standard troop views, but based on his interaction with them. He loved Eisenhower, of course, and liked Bradley a lot. He didn't care much for Patton. Montgomery was pretty much the little ball of vanity every thinks of. And so on.......
