It pains me to agree with you, but it really bugs me when either side "hitlerizes" the other.

That being said, leaders have used patriotism, hatred, and fear to motivate the masses for millenia, and I do believe the current administration is guilty of this (albeit to a much lesser extent). Whether the ends justify the means in this case it a different matter altogther.

In the meantime, it looks like GWB's records have been located, I'll be interested to see what they say.
