What drives the ABB crowd is their need to spin everything in a black-n-white way just to pin the blame on Bush.

Oh please...what/who has spun things more in black and white than george w bush. Axis of evil, with us or against us, the my way or the highway policy the two years before the war was so revolting, the nation found itself go from the immense goodwill post 9/11 to intense dislike and resentment. Be objective.

The higher standard demanded by a "war of choice" ought to be enough to demand at least something more than what the Bush administration has owned up to.

I can tolerate a lot, but to have the nation put to war on mistaken assumptions when a path of containment was CLEARLY possible and preferred by most nations of the world....that is more than I can handle. At the end of the day I don't care who provided the bad intelligence. It happened on his watch. It was bush who made the decision to go ahead with it and what I see now is an endless mess, one many sage Americans on both sides of the aisle predicted, rumor has it his own father was among them. Sorry, that breaks the camel's back for me. You can vote for this man, I am taking my chances with a man who has a better appreciation for the misery of violence and war. The rest is miniscule in comparison.
