That's what oil conservation is all about.

1. "They" (Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia etc) control the majority of the world's CHEAP oil. If all of these countries banded together under an unfriendly regime, they would be powerful enough to cause massive disruptions to the world economy.

when we conserved the price stayed low. All Opec could do was bicker and cheat on quotas. They are greedy too.

Now that we drive SUVs they are in the dirvers seat.
