Hello non-sequitor. What do smiling Iraqi children have to do with the issue of whether the Bush administration played upon the fears of the American public to accomplish it's objective?

You seem to really have it in for me for some reason. However, rather than trade barbs, I'll stick to the issue on this one.

Do you seriously not believe that the Bush administration intentionally lit a fire under the collective asses of the US public by using rhetoric such as "axis of evil" and emphasizing the threat of WMD?

Again, I'm not arguing here whether they were right or wrong to do so.... or whether such rhetoric was necessary to motivate a reluctant US public to invade Iraq, even if it was in our best interest.

By the way, I have yet to find any trace of real insight in any of your posts. Rather than using rhetorical misdirection and calling people idiots (which appears to be the extent of your commentary on these boards) ... perhaps you might try actually considering the issues.
