Hi Jimbobwae, I find stratfor:

(a) useful for reminder/refresher of the issues

(b) interesting for some facts

(c) obviously biased in the way that bad news is good news, worse news is better news, and horrible news is the best of all news (sort of like CNBC)

(d) if Stratfor believes everything (analysis) it puts out in the way of analysis, then laughably naive

(e) if Stratfor does not believe everything (analysis) it puts out, then it is useful to read what they put out

(f) Assuming private market provides the best (cost effective value for money) service, and given that Stratfor is private, then the best is not very good, and so the government sector analysis cannot be better
