Z, My mom's a lifelong teacher and she's making 2/3rds of what I make, at the age of 24, in the for-profit sector.
If your mother teaches in California, that means you should be making about $82,000 a year.

This article linked below respectively disagrees with you. The average CA pay for teachers is 55K. But don't let the facts get in your way of accusing Z of being a liar.

Ted, next time I'll be more straightforward. $82K a year is what Z should be making if his mother makes 2/3 of what he makes, assuming NY is similar to CA.
