Yes, but if you are smart enough and determined enough and hardworking enough to learn math, physics, or computer science, why waste your talent and energy in a job that can be done by someone less energetic and bright and who will be, as a consequence, paid less?

Many people, at the time they're making these decisions, are just lazy. They are unwilling to work now for the fruit it will bear later on.


You are no better than a backwoods hick. Its frightening how little you know.

Good point. Or unaware or unappreciative of the consequences and significance of their decision. Far more fun to play in your 20s than work, but those years can influence the rest of your life.
