If you are going to quote facts at least get them right. Let me just take the one totally stupid fact among a bunch of unrelated facts that you think proves your point:

You are correct "Vietnam never attacked us."

However the statement:

John F. Kennedy...started the Vietnam conflict in 1962.

is of course truely stupid and a statement that only a really ignorant person would make.

Colonialism in Vietnam goes back decades before 1962 with the French trying to control it. Before that it was the Chinese.

Our involvement did not start during Kennedy's admin. It started during Truman's administration in 1952 after the Geneva Accords and accelerated during Eisenhower Administration. The Eisenhower Administration cancelled the elections that were supposed to unify Vietnam and arbitrarily split the country in two supporting a puppet dictatorship like we are doing in Iraq today.

By the way Eisenhower was one of the first to warn the public about the "military industrial complex" that runs the Bush Administration.

Our involvement in the Middle East goes back further including destabilizing the legally elected Mossedeq government in Iran which is a primary reason for 9/11. After we got rid of the legally elected Mossedeq government we installed the Shah who ruthlessly tortured and murdered scores of thousands of people in Iran leading to deep hatred of America and eventually the popular overthrow of the Shah and the current regime of Muslim Extremists. Is it any wonder we have a problem with extremists in the Middle East when we treat people that way?

Some people have very short memories.

"There were 39 combat related killings
in Iraq during the month of January...."

Wrong, there were 47 deaths among Americans,52 deaths among Coalition Forces, .....Should we include Iraqi deaths?

Re:"less time to take Iraq than Waco.." We haven't taken Iraq yet....don't know if you've noticed.

What terrorist slaughtered 300,000 of his own people?
