A Few Biers

Where are we today ? Look at the new land and you quickly discover you can no longer sort the good, the bad and the ugly into convenient classes. Tim Luke and Doug Nadworny left SI just two short years ago and two years is a long long way away in this land.
Doug Nadworny was an investor, he came to this land in an attempt to find value. Doug's profile doesn't tell us whether he found value, it just tells us he is gone. The task was difficult when Doug attempted it back then, today it has become much harder. A good starting point is difficult to find if you are a newcomer to Silicon Investor. Doug kept pretty good company, for the most part, he discussed investments, considered the advice of others and said little of controversy. I am not sure that Doug ever thought of himself as an inhabitant of the new land. There is little to indicate how he felt in regards to community, and community is not expressing how we feel, community is living together, side by side. I don't know if Doug ever made the connection he needed to find something of value in this land. Today newcomers have a difficult time establishing any place to stand that won't be challenged. Doug Nadworny was an investor, so beside Tim Luke and Timbo and George Bigelow and Jack Doerr, I will lay another bier for Doug Nadworny.
