<<<The biggest lie of all is when Bush said he didn't want war. His whole staff had been campaigning for war with Iraq for years. >>>

And that is where you happen to be mistaken

We were prepared for war, which is the job of the Military at all times.

We were prepared for war with Iraq because the previous war had never been concluded and the no-fly zones were still being patrolled and airplanes being shot at.

If you choose to call that preparation 'campaigning' then we are campaigning for every war before it occurs.

UN Resolution 1441 said war was coming unless Saddam complied.

GWB wanted Saddam and his regime gone, no matter whether the UN or anyone else did the job.Saddam could have taken the asylum offered, he could have complied.

Saddam chose war.
