Hussein did not murder millions
I defy you to provide reasonable links that say he did or that it was ongoing at the time of our invasion. No way was it ongoing with inspectors and areial survelience etc etc etc going on.

In fact it is debatable whether or not he gassed even as many 10's of thousands of kurds (and millions is preposterous).
I say he did not and I have US intelligence on my side.
The type of gas that killed the Kurds was Iranian in nature.
Hussein was using a different type of gas (gas that the US gave him in fact). US intelligence admits this but people will believe what they want to believe. The likely reason for those Kurdish deaths was they got involved in the middle of a gas war between Iraq and Iran and Iranian gas killed them. Those are the facts.

Bear in mind there is no doubt that Hussein was a murdering thug. Nowhere near on the sacle that any attributes to him however.

Finally such actions had all but stopped at the time of our invasion. IMO one should not wait 15 years to take action against behavior that had stopped and was well under control at the time of the invasion. Its like kicking your dog for biting your sister 5 years ago! There were no WOMDs, no gas, no Uranium, and we attacked Hussein 15 years too late when he was of no threat to the US. Again that is the fact and our stupid invasion proved those facts.

Now we are stretched so thin invading a country that we had no business invading, and ignoring 30,000 CURRENT deaths and ongoing geonocide in Sudan. Not to mention that our invasion of Iraq stirred up worldwide hatred of the US from nearly every country on the globe. The US now has far far more enemies than before. We are less secure as a result of Bush's arrogance and stupidity.

What a disaster.
