I used to respect Colin Powell. If he had run instead of Bush, I'd have voted for him. He's been badly used by the Bush administration, and it's been sad to see him prostitute himself for them, selling the neocon agenda. Maybe it was for his son's job. Now, he's got about as much credibility as Clarence Thomas - the Bushies have spent it all. He's like a tired, used up hooker who's looks are gone. From what I understand, that's why he won't be in a second Bush administration, if we are unfortunate enough to have one. I'm looking forward to HIS book. He's tired of being the house nigga.

I have a couple of questions about your diatribe. First, if Bush is wanting to, as you say "to fashion a country wherein they will be free to struggle on their own, to make their own way- or perish", why does he never side with the working class on as issue? Bush is consitantly anti-worker, anti-poor. IMO.

The same question can be asked of Rice and Powell. What specifically have they done to help their less advantaged brothers? maybe if you can point out some things, it will lessen the impact of the charge that they are turncoats.

>>By contrast, the blacks in whom you claim an interest are fatherless, almost the lowest of the lowest people in humanity-- exactly like "house niggas." They are now trapped in a legacy that at its very best can produce only more filth and depravity for generations on end

the implications of this comment on how you view people are truly disgusting.

being born poor, black, and fatherless does not forever condemn your bloodline to ignominy. conversely, i've known more than a few blue-blooded wasps who were given every advantage in the world and still manage to lead petty, worthless lives.
