I am somewhat offended by the view, that America's goals in Iraq were imperialistic. Imperialism is the wrong word but what is the right word for wanting to spread our values, including not only democracy but also liberalism (19th century liberalism, not Hillaryism), capitalism, and even globalism? Many people have been enlightened by Thomas P.M. Barnett, Navy War College professor and author of The Pentagon's New Map. Like it or not, we're pushing globalization and integration into our capitalistic way of life.
