Pakistan is the most extremist Muslim country. No matter how secure President Musharraf feels because of the security provided by the US, it is always possible to buy off one of his bodyguards. I am seeing what happened to Indira Gandhi, the Indian PM and to General Zia ul-Haq when their closest confidants ditched them either for the love of a ideology or for money. Hence it will be interesting to see what Pakis (General Musharraf) will do.

India holds a big key to the developments in that region. IMO, there is much more than meets the eye with the taking of the Indian hostages in Iraq. India has opposed the US on Iraq. here is an interesting read.
