Great news. It will not hurt me a bit. I raised my kids to be self-sufficient.

As a side note, I will not rent to section 8. I did for a time though.... after snatching 40k in matching cash from the government i had to rent to low life's for 10 long years as I watched them tear up a nice dwelling and have the HUD inspectors come along and tell me that a new set of screens was needed since summer time was approaching.... Also would tell me the screen door needed to be replaced. I would simply remove it. A simple installed screen door runs about 200 bucks. They told I had to have a screen door... no they have central air and I am not replacing the screen door. They are not going to rip another one off the hinges... LOL

How often do you replace the screens on your house? Not uncommon to replace HUD house screens every other year.

My 10 years is up and I always advertise my properties as no hud, no pets.

That was another trick I learned..... advertise houses that were under the 10 year lease agreement as no pets. Seems odd to me, that many HUD families living on the dole always seems to have enough money for at least one pitt bull.
