IMO it is a mistake is he doesn't change that.

Bush grew the debt by $420 billion in 2002 and $554 billion in 2003.

Kerry should change that promise.

The rightwing knows it's going to lose and so it's become like a virus attacked by a serum, or rats attacked by rat poison. They are thrashing for their lives. They will literally say or do anything to try and stay in power, even go completely AWOL on the truth and decency. The good part is that none of it will work. They're goners and the USA will be far better off without them in power.
