Oh dear:

I see very little pro-Kerry sentiment here from the Kerry camp. Most in the Kerry camp are simply anti-Bush and some of them will tell you so.

Furthermore re. being anti-Kerry, how do you debate whether Kerry should be President without allowing anti-Kerry opinions to be expressed?

I realize most of the Kerry camp here are feeling bad cause they think they are getting the worst of things but maybe they should be better arguers for their cause.

You must be skipping over a number of posts here. There are many reasons, good ones, for planning to vote for Kerry, but one cannot cast a vote for him without taking into consideration the considerable mess the current administration has gotten us into, in Iraq as well as in the psyche of world opinion.

I don't know what you mean by "getting the worst <sic> of things" but I can assure you that my family is thriving economically. They are thoughtful pro-Kerry voters who are not poor.

Brumar,

Good post. The election is about Bush, not Kerry. It has actually become a chore to criticize Kerry. For someone in the public eye so long, there is not a lot that he has accomplished. He appears to have been a good prosecutor. Perhaps Marc Racicot, our next Attorney General, can hire him for the Justice Department. His legislative record does not include any significant accomplishments and I don't know whether to attack the "old" liberal Kerry, or the Kerry that is attempting to morph into a moderate.

It is going to get very ugly this fall. American Spirit has already talked about hanging Cheney. Let's hope that he does not have access to guns. I am comfortable with the idea of an armed redfish.

Brumar89. You said...." This is a Presidential election year. Tempers will get worse and worse till election day grows nearer. I'd urge everybody on all sides to try to keep their cool. I'll even try to take my own advice - no guarantees though. ".....

What about after the election? Should the democrats lose again would they take the loss gracefully? If the last election is an example of how democrats will act it don't look good.....hell there are still some crying the blues after more than three years about how the election was stolen. Democrats were trying to get the UN to monitor the USA election this time IMO setting up a " told you so " situation in the event they lose.

I have asked a couple of democrats here would the except a loss gracefully..... No answer....Yet.
