Trousergate: Sandy Berger's Wardrobe Malfunction

I can't help but wonder what the hell Sandy Berger was thinking when he shoved classified documents into his pants, apparently attempting to keep them from being turned over to the 9/11 Commission. Was he trying to protect himself, or was this about protecting Clinton's precious legacy? Did he act on his own, or did someone put him up to it? Karl Rove, perhaps?

Folks on the left are desperately trying to downplay the seriousness of this... they want the story to be about when and how this leaked to the media, just as they did when the sleaziness of Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee was revealed by a security hole in their computer system. Then Democrats were caught playing politics with Iraq, and now Sandy Berger seems to have been caught playing a much more dangerous game with 9/11... there are more than mere politics are at work this time around. He could wind up in some major legal trouble.

Probably the only way that Berger will be able to survive this unscathed will be if he can somehow make it all about sex. He should drop this ridiculous story that he "inadvertantly" stuffed classified papers into his jacket, pants, and socks... insteead, he should focus entirely on the pants, and claim that it was all part of some kinky role-playing between him and a frumpy mistress. He could claim that when she asked him what the bulge in his pants was, he would respond: “That's classified, baby... but if you play your cards right, I just might let you debrief me in about twenty minutes. Now, go ahead and fix me a drink.”

That story would also help explain why any documents might have been destroyed... the guy can't have his wife seeing the stains now can he? Republicans are such nosy perverts! We should all just mind our own business and let the poor man go back to lying through his teeth about Bush on all the talk shows.

The Bushies are very negative and hateful people.
That's what we are learning this week.
Not a single positive thing to say about our country, their policies or anything. They are basically thumbing thsie noses at democracy itself. They care more about extremist ideologies than people or progress. Shame on them all. Kerry will beat these liars and con men by a landslide. Godd bless Kerry-Edwards and down with the corrupt bums in power now.

I do not believe that. I believe the Kerry campaign wants them to continue to lie.

kerry campaign rejects kerry spirit, the lying Chinus and other sidekicks!
