Looks like she feels the best defense is a good offense...otherwise known as flat out lying. They showed the video of her using the phrase "un-American" after the video of the reporter asking her to clarify what she meant and her saying several times "I didn't say that" and "You're putting words in my mouth." And just to top things off:

Marla Romash, Teresa Heinz Kerry spokeswoman, told WTAE-TV's Scott Baker, "This was sheer frustration, aimed at a right-wing rag, that has consistently and purposely misrepresented the facts in reporting on Mrs. Kerry and her family."

Translation: report what I say I said, not what I said.
