I got into the airport and my car wouldn't start. So next day I had to get a tow. It is hard to find someone to tow it, because clearance is only 7'10" in the parking garage.

I finally find someone, and the tow company says to meet the truck at the entrance to the parking garage, which is not part of the airport where the public is expected to hang out, i.e., it is off limits to unauthorized personnel. I asked "are you sure?" and they said yeah.

So to get to this place there aren't even any sidewalks, I'm walking down ramps and in the grass and stuff. I station myself at the entrance to parking, and everyone that comes in thinks I am security and rolls down their window. I just look the other way.

I was out there for 40 minutes waiting for the towtruck, expecting homeland security to grab me and subject me to a full-body cavity search, and nobody ever even asked why I was there.

If I had wanted to, I could easily have pretended to be security and put something in the trunk of someone's car.
