Then rightwing started the insulting. I remember soon after 9-11 when the rightwing (drunken with totalitarian power) started calling anti-war protesters "evil" despite the fact that many of them were clergy. They also rallied around Anne Coulter's call for McCarthyism and called half the country "traitors" along with John McCain. Now they are calling more names, slandering war heros, wives, kids, you name it. None of it is true but truth doesn't matter to the rightwing. They're just about hateful insults and clearly they are trying to bring down rather than raise up democracy itself.
