You're so right about the opportunity to discover so many great musicians and vocalists in the jazz genre. I found out about Illinois Jacquet's passing on SI...Michael Burke mentioned it last week on his thread. Bennie Carter was amazing. So many greats in the field of jazz. Unfortunately for me I started to really appreciate jazz and how accomplished many of the jazz greats were a little late in my life and I'll never be able to make up for lost time.<g>
