Iraq was a major mistake based on a pack of lies.
SO what if the place gradually sorts itself out to a degree. Hopefully it does, but don't bet on it.

Iraq is still going to be a trouble spot for many years to come. No US president should ever take us to war based on lies and fabrications. That one really cost us. Anything good to come out of Iraq now is minor compared to the damage Bush has done to our country by rushing in their in the first place.

For one thing, Bush has aided terrorist organizations in their recruitment efforts worldwide by casting us as the invader and oppressor. That alone slams the war on terror. But of course, Bush doesn't really want to win the war on terror. He wants it to keep going and going, which is why he has no problem with such reckless bull in a china shop decisions. Oh yeah, and Iraq's got a ton of oil too. The one biggest reason for going in Bushies will never tell you the truth about. Next stop Iran if Bush gets re-elected. Go Halliburton and Exxon!
