Yes, Bush did choose to go to war to achieve Iraqi regime change. But I have at least made the point that regime change had in fact been national policy for years before Bush became President. And I think time has shown no other way was possible.

I notice that a few weeks ago, Jordan offered to send troops to Iraq. All Iraq had to do is ask, they said.

Also I note that the US and Russia are discussing Russia sending 40K troops.

Well, add Russia and Jordan to Britain and Australia and the numerous other countries that have troops there, I guess we are "alienated from the world" because France isn't on board. Oh well.
