Dance, dance, true believer, conventional reality, true believer, dance, spin, conventional reality, spin, spin, cheesy debate trick, sneer, looking glass, looking glass, cheesy debate trick, sneer, sneer..

C'mon, Win, how about something substantive about Okrent's editorial, instead of the same old tired and tiresome stuff?

Do you agree with Okrent? If not, why not? Is there a place for advocacy on the front page or should it go somewhere else? Do you agree with Sulzburger's justification? If so, why? If not, why not? What about the "urban audience" business? Is it fair to assume that all urban audiences are liberal? Even if so, is it good journalism to tailor reporting to the tastes of the readers?

Is the reason you rarely address substantive issues and prefer instead to engage in personal invective the fact that you are incapable of doing so? Or is it simply your preferred mode of "discourse?"
