Hi Dennis,

I couldn't find the article that compiled the stats over the last 50 years proving that if an incumbent Republican is re-elected, then the following year the stock market performed better on average than if a Democrat upset a Republican incumbent. So it's not misinformation, it's just a fact. But the other fact, which you pointed out, is that the markets have performed better under Democrats as a whole.

However, like I said before, that's just statistics. Meaning that obviously there is no guarantee that the same will happen this time around if Kerry is re-elected.
