T, I think they're going to streamline this stuff over the next few years. When it's needed, technology will be created.

In our industry (industrial coatings), 'unscheduled maintenance' usually refers to a situation where the owners refuse to shut down for regular maintenance because things are going so smoothly. Then, the poop hits the fan and you get the unscheduled problems due to the lack of regular maintenance. It is really hard to convince the owners to shut down when the cash is coming in nicely and there are no problems on the line.
