<<< I hear from several of my online friends (now about 350 of them) around the country, is 'riveting....'

It would be too much to expect that all voters in the US read the book, but at least some of them that care about America should.>>>

I think the 911 Commission did a terrific job. They had a very difficult job to do in the first place, and they did it well.

I think if we had this report before we went into Iraq, we would not have gone into Iraq.

Tom Keane did a good job. I only wish the report came out sooner.

For conservatives to ponder.
We all blame clinton/monica for the distraction that prevented him from taking on Osama after the Cole bombing. The distraction however was not Monica--it was Ken Starr and his band of contensious partisans who disrupted the Presidency because of sexual indiscretion on the part of the President. IF the republicans of that time had spent more time trying to toughen up the clinton admin rather than bringing it down, Osama may just have been deal with then and perhaps no 9/11.
Today the dems risk doing the same when they quietly root for the bad situation in iraq to continue just long enough to get kerry elected.
Teresa got one thing right in her pre-shove it speech. This partisanship that puts party over country does border on the unpatriotic. I am tired of Terry McCaulliffe and Tom Delay and Anne Coulter and Michael Moore. It is wartime. Americans need to wake up to that fact regardless of who is president and not concentrate on narrow partisan spin. I will support and pray for either candidate when they become president. Mike
