Ted, As things stand now, third parties can't gain any traction and that's the way the FF wanted it. That's stretching the truth. Throughout this nation's history, third parties for the most part have been instrumental in molding and shaping the policies of the dominant two parties. Just because the current political duopoly makes it extremely tough for third parties to gain any traction doesn't mean the Founding Fathers supposedly wanted it that way.
