New USA Poll shows Bush with only 40% firm support and only 4% more who might vote for him, Kerry ahead at 43% firm and 7% who are meaning for him, undecideds at 7-17%, but battleground undecideds much less. That makes for about 50% for Kerry and 44% for Bush unless things change, as they always might. Kerry also polls better in battleground states than nationally for some reason which gives him an added advantage.
