New USA Poll shows Bush with only 40% firm support and only 4% more who might vote for him, Kerry ahead at 43% firm and 7% who are meaning for him, undecideds at 7-17%, but battleground undecideds much less. That makes for about 50% for Kerry and 44% for Bush unless things change, as they always might.

Kerry also polls better in battleground states than nationally for some reason which gives him an added advantage.

Pray tell us where Bush gets 58% of the vote from?
Are they going to disqualify all blacks from voting or something?

To get 58%, Bush would have to have an approval rating of about 65%. Sorry, but it's about 45%.
