AS always tells the truth. And here's one for the Bushies. Amazingly, the race has tightened prior to the convention. An average of most recent battleground state polls gives Kerry a slight edge, but too close to call in the states which will decide the election, Florida, Missouri and a few others. A month ago, Kerry has a nice lead.

This seems strange as Edwards is a clear plus to the ticket. Therefore, I remain optimistic. However, it will be such a tough and confusing race due to the amount of mud the rightwing will throw that voters are bound to be befuddled. The Bush strategy is to confuse and divide while remaining negative and trying to do a Dukakis on war hero Kerry and good heartland guy Edwards. I say, good luck.
