Of all the crap you've posted in defense of Bush's cowering seven minutes, the above is the silliest.... Translation : "Of course, Johannes, you are correct. But I can stand anyone's seeing Bush in a positive light. So I will just lie - as usual." The nation was under attack and you suggest he should not have dashed away from the little children's reading group.... Absolutely. When you claim the nation was "under attack," you intentionally confuse traditional attacks with the highly untraditional attack of 911. The nation was not under the sort of state approved military attack of the Pearl Harbor sort. Civilians, stateless civilians, attacked other civilians. Because of this radical difference, initially no one knew if the attacks were terrorist attacks. The whole world wondered if some accident had occurred. I do not doubt that Bush, like the rest of the world, had difficulty synthesizing the facts before him. That it only took him 7 minutes to put himself into action is quite an excellent testament to the guy's superior leadership skills. he didn't have to dash away, but he did need to show the nation that he was on the job by getting off his ass and appearing to be in command..... Well. This clearly proves you've never led anything. Your demands of the President are just plain unreasonable. You are denying the guy a mere 7 minutes to think through a catastrophe of historic proportions. You are unworthy of Bush or any other decent leader. To say he was showing great leadership in that situation is only proof of your radical support. I am compelled to give the man his due, unlike leftists liars. Where I disagree with Bush, I disagree vehemently. But, on 911, the guy led the nation in precisely the fashion that was needed. And you pretending that you are a great (good?) leader is also arguable....you're far far too radical and extreme to be a leader in the normal sense of the word... I don't pretend to be good or bad, Shep. Like Bush, I simply get the job done. A leader of a Taliban-like movement perhaps, but not of normal people.... Well you see, my people enjoy work, unlike you normal folks who of your own admission haven't held a job in years. So apparently they aren't normal. you did say you checked to see if your company disaster recovery plan was initiated.... Much of the "checking" was already being done before I got involved. My initial job was simply to encourage the others once I was able to encourage myself. I am sure I understand something of what Bush experienced. We all followed him. His approval ratings were about 90%. He didn't have to say follow me. That is how it usually works with great leaders. BTW, have you seen the seven minute clip???? Nope.
