"The debt has to be paid."

It will be Kenny. Remember we had escalating debt during the cold war. The war ended and the debt shrank. The war on terrorism will end, and the debt will shrink.

Don't worry Kenny. America is a prosperous and hard working nation. We will not go BK.

So is someone going to FINALLY illuminate that elusive time when the idiots decided to "pay off the debt" and it DIDN'T create deflationary ruin, destruction and war?

I doubt it...

The problem is "pay off the debt" SOUNDS good to every charlatan from Blowhard Bill O'Reilly to Michael Moore, but it's PLAIN WRONG.

Which syllable of the word WRONG do you Social Security welfare queens refuse to understand?...

Hey, I'd rather we owed it to them then they owed it to us. hehe. We have this nasty habit of forgiving debts. Seems to me even there Kerry has it all wrong. I would think us owing them gives us some leverage. jdn

Now you're parroting Clinton, Kenneth...

It's like negotiation with your banker.

From Bill Clinton's speech:
They are borrowing the rest from foreign governments, mostly Japan and China. Sure, they're competing with us for good jobs but how can we enforce our trade laws against our bankers?

I guess you must be in heaven now that your playbook has been filled with new Clintonisms. :)
