Right on! It was originally conceived to buy the votes of the NEA and the AFT. Also stop any subsidies to one of the richest sectors of our society, the farmer. The red-herring the agriculture subsidies are for the 'little' farmer is plain old BS. The top 10 % of the farmers in size and income receive 90% of the subsidy money, the 'small' farmer gets screwed.Many of our solons own highly subsidized farms and tobacco plots. Tobacco farmers are being courted to 'accept' a buy out of billions of dollars to 'allow' the tobacco subsidy to be eliminated. HO! HA!
