do you know where Kerry stands on opening up ANWAR (Alaska Arctic National Wildlife Reserve)for oil exploration and development? It would seem that one of the most basic ways to deal with the problems in the mideast is to come up with viable alternative energy resources. The word "viable" is key to that last sentence. Many politicians are opposed to developing alternatives on our own soil (like ANWAR). If Kerry is one of those, it would seem to me that he is rather short sighted on the bigger picture.
