Arguably not.

However, the threats we faced from terrorists were not quite as clear to us as they are now.

For the first time since i voted for him, after last nights speech i thought gore might have been the better president. Then about an hour later i found out about the stemwinder he wanted to deliver that was nixed by the kerry folks. There are just so many iterations of algore running around, they are just too hard to make sense of. mike
