Watching the convention, I am afraid the Dems have gone off the deep end. Clinton indulged in ridiculous class warfare rhetoric, suggesting that the Republicans rule as elitists interested only in helping themselves. Teresa Heinz said that there was no trade- off between security and civil liberties, or business and environmentalism, that we could have it all without qualification. Many speakers referred to "taking back" the government, as if it were the natural Democratic right to rule in Washington........
