9mm or .357 Magnum works just fine for me (and they're easier to handle,

patron, what you need is an H&K. They have a special recoil dampening system that makes them very easy on the hand/arm. I have the Compact 45. My step-son has the Mark 23, the one the navy seals use. They also make them in .40 and 9mm. awesome weapons, and ones that will be favored in the coming economic cataclysm. <g>

Agreed. If you can't stop someone with a 9mm that has a 15 rd. clip, you shouldn't be handling a gun in the first place. Recoil is a factor in those big guns as well, hard to re-aim after taking a shot, not to mention the ringing in your ears.
