As I said, he's a practical guy not beholden to the oilmen. I think the Bush support of ANWAR was mainly a sop to his oil backers. He believes we need a long term energy policy. He's for protecting the enviornment, but I don't see this as bad. There are many things he hasn't fully developed, but more details will come as time goes on. At this point, I just credit him with common sense. MY common sense tells me we need more nuclear now. I think he would be driven to the same conclusion.
