Right, that was the original intent 20 years ago.

But what is the reason to increase this incentive NOW, since this designation of "cargo van" is hardly relevant?

Bush deliberately increased this exemption, a few years ago. What the intent of the designation of 6000 lb vehicles was 20 years ago is hardly relevant today... we all know what 6000 lb vehicles are today... gas guzzling SUVs and Hummers.

Bush greatly increased the incentive to buy these vehicles a few years ago. He didn't leave a bad law alone, he MADE IT WORSE. Knowing full well the consequences
