hey Poet,

"Are you asking those who support Kerry to convince you to vote for him?"

Not necessarily... I am just doing my thing (splashing in puddles) as usual. The Bush thread views me as the same kind of nuisance as the people here do.

I thought my question was fairly simple. Assuming that you can take Bush out of the picture, why Kerry? What do we get? What capabilities has Kerry demonstrated to lead this country in a strong and positive direction?

The hard core dems have been so entrenched with bush bashing for so long it doesn't appear that they are able to think in terms of what Kerry brings to the table... except that he is such a famous anti-establishmentarian that he might be able to bring down the Bush establishment... OK, if so then what?

I get a vacumn when ask that question or angry name calling and that should bother us all.

We heard how much hard core dems hate Bush a long time ago. It is over stated, we are tired of listening to it... now it is at the point where people are just reacting to it in the anti-mode as in "shut up already, we heard you". Kerry's numbers are going to go down from here until or unless he starts to look like a strong leader, not just anti-bush.

If that is not possible, then I can see why my simple question gets the reactions it does.

Take care,
jewel
