Agree. Exactly why the attempted "makeover" of kerry to a moderate will not work. He has been clearly identified as a top notch voting liberal for his 19+ years in office.

I think Hillary nailed him correctly. He has got where he is by "standing there and looking pretty." He is obviously intelligent, and the limits on the Prez would probably keep in him line.

I like to see successful Governors. They have learned how to run a large bureaucracy.

Massachusetts has about 6 1/2 million people
and about 8,000 square miles
Kerry as Senator has not run his own business, nor has he interfaced as CEO of the State.

North Carolina has about 8 1/2 million people
and about 49,000 square miles
Senator Edwards has been a one term'er...a trial lawyer how did very well lining his pockets...and has not run a business for himself or as Governor.

Texas has 22 million people
and about 267,000 square miles
GW Bush ran his own business for several years, and was Governor of Texas for 8 years, 1994 and 1998 4 years each time.
