"I agree, he was very impressive, his only fault is in believing that KERRY would be the man to accomplish his dreams." <GGG> Well, you can't hold the traditional extolling of the nominee (near the end of his speech) against him... it's kinda expected of the Keynote Speaker! In my own opinion, Kerry himself is fairly uninspiring pap (not the same high order of tired, uninspiring pap that Gephart represents... but not too far removed from it). As I've become quite comfortable doing, throughout my long life, this fall I'll select between the collection of 'lesser evils' that are presented for my choice. Likely I'll pull the lever for the Libertarian candidate to state my truest intentions and beliefs and advance the philosophy (my home State being solidly in the Bush electoral column, a vote for Kerry would be equally as 'wasted' as my Libertarian vote....) On the other-hand, the boring Kerry in the WH, with a Republican Congress (hopefully, re-learning their lost principles of fiscal discipline) could actually be a fairly benign form of divided government --- with fewer lemming-like disasterous rushes off of cliffs. Potentially much better for the country then the prospect of EITHER branch of the Republi-crats getting total control, and pigging out in rewarding their supporters, at the expense of the nation.
